A warm embrace in San Jose

From the first warm welcome by Laurie and Miriam, we felt right at home. The breakfast, complete with a delicious blueberry French toast casserole, was a lovely way to start each day. Loved lounging on the spacious upper terrace while enjoying the calming sounds of nature.

While the lack of air conditioning didn't bother us much, it could feel warm during the day. We were also surprised to find two friendly dogs and a cat on the property, which may not be ideal for those with allergies.

The breakfast spread is a fresh delight, featuring eggs, fruit, and a selection of breads that kickstart the day right. The vast terrace offers a calming space, perfect for relaxing amidst the greenery.

Room doors didn't lock, which felt a bit unsettling despite around-the-clock security. The first night had a reservation hiccup, but the room was set up within 15 minutes. Not having A/C made for a humid environment, particularly on warmer days.

The good outweighs the bad (barely)

Fantastic stay with beautiful scenery and warm hospitality! The winding staircase, cozy room, and delightful resident dogs were a joy. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and I enjoyed relaxing on the deck while spotting lovely birds. Plus, the owners went above and beyond, even helping with ATM issues!

This place suits me perfectly, providing free Wi-Fi, a lovely outdoor dining area, and a cute lounge. The staff once helped with plug adaptors during my first stay, showing their dedication. I’m excited to return for a holiday!

The spacious outdoor veranda provided a serene space to unwind and enjoy nature. Though the property was near good restaurants, occasional noise from nearby activities could detract from relaxation.

This spot was an excellent fit for a weekend adventure in San Jose with extraordinarily good value for money. The vast terrace was a perfect place to unwind with a drink after a long day. Be sure to ask about local taxi services for easy transport.

Our stay in the Family Room was amazing! Loved the spacious layout, relaxing terrace with views, and the homemade blueberry French toast casserole at breakfast. The room had a fridge and coffee maker, which was super convenient. Laurie and Heraldo were so helpful, taking us up the hill to nearby dinners. What a treat!
